Basil Health is a food and beverage brand where I worked as a visual design intern. At Basil, I collaborated with the design and marketing teams to redesign menus, packaging, create social media content, develop promotional communication, and craft brand-led storytelling that reflected Basil’s fresh, friendly tone of voice. I also contributed to the branding and communication of Basil’s tech-driven vertical, Zylo.
Menu Redesign
Redesigned Basil’s menu system by restructuring categories, refining layout grids, balancing typography, and applying a consistent visual language across seasonal and product launches. The redesign improves clarity, strengthens brand personality, and makes quick scanning easier for customers in both kiosk and café settings.

Marketing Communication — Posters & Standees
Created promotional communication for Basil’s kiosks across multiple locations, including malls, offices, and universities. The posters and standees highlight discounts, app downloads, and seasonal offers through clear hierarchy, simple layouts, and Basil’s warm, flavour-forward tone.
Packaging & Product Labels
I designed a unified system of product labels and stickers for Basil’s kiosk kitchen and its collaboration products. This included category-based stickers for powders, spices, and add-ons, as well as co-branded labels for partnerships with Goat and Twiddles. The focus was on keeping communication clear, friendly, and consistent across all formats while adapting the visual language to different packaging styles and partner brand identities.

Editorial Communication — Basil Times
As part of Basil’s communication system, I created Basil Times, a four-page editorial newsletter featuring brand storytelling, health content, illustrations, and structured layouts. The piece was designed to strengthen brand engagement through clear communication and a friendly editorial tone.



CRM Communication
I designed CRM artworks for Basil’s WhatsApp communication, creating quick, clear visuals that supported daily customer engagement. These included offer updates, menu highlights, seasonal drops, and app-download prompts. The artworks were designed for small-screen visibility, using concise copy, bold hierarchy, and Basil’s friendly visual language to ensure they remained instantly readable and actionable.
